Flocculation is a natural or an artificial process of combining tiny elements in liquids to form large particle. Flocculation occurs when small particles lose their resistance and starts combining forming flakes. Flocculator in a laboratory is used to conduct relative study about the performance of various chemicals on water and chemicals and to conduct jar tests to evaluate coagulants and flocculants.

The gap f75mm between the outlet and inner wall is filled with special grade glass wool to prevent thermal losses.

 

A self cooled air circulation fan is fitted to maintain uniform temperature and humidity conditions throughout the chamber. Temp. range from 5°C above ambient too60°C is controlled by thermostat with an accuracy of ±1°C. Humidity is controlled through an HHUMIDISTAT, thus controlling the desired set humidity range from atmospheric humidity to 95% ±3%.

Electrically operated with quick release chuck taking wide variety of interchangeable nylon brushes for cleaning syrings, test tubes, bottles etc. Model (a) and (b) are table model on a heavy base and have single chuck. The Mortar revolves and the pestle moves back and fourth in a pattern reaching all parts of the motor, its metallic housing with a F.H.P Motor driven detachable turn table of cast aluminium has hinged, heavy head which can be raised to inspect or remove the sample or additional material to be added as desired. A built-in timer permits selection of grinding operation upto 60min, the grinding vessel and mortar are all completely covered by a clear acrylic cover. To operate on 220VAC.
