Vacuum ovens are used in industrial and laboratory purpose for its qualities of undergoing a thermal process in a sealed cavity. The vacuum oven is typically constructed with two walls – one is the exterior wall that is made out of powdered coated stainless steel while the interior wall is made out of heavy duty stainless steel. The interior wall is made to match the requirements of using the oven on materials like metals.

Vacuum ovens are used to determine moisture, drying of paper and rubber, vacuum storage, dry sterilization, plating and ageing tests. They are extensively used in production line and in laboratory for test and research purpose.

Double walled construction on heavy iron angle chamber made of thick Mild Steel/Aluminium painted with Temp. Resistant paint and outer finished with grey hamertone paint. Insulation is made of 75mm thick blanket of glass wool. Temp. range 50°CV to 250°C controlled by Microprocessor Based Digital Temp Indicator cum Controller with accuracy of ±5°C, Air circulation is provided by heavy duty blower fitted on sides with ON/OFF switch indicators ventilators provided on the top of Oven. Loss on heating/ thin film oven 

this dual purpose oven is designed to determine the loss in weight of bitumen and flux oils (loss on heating test) and the effect of heat and air on asphaltic materials (thin film test). The unit is heavily insulated and has a double glass door for viewing the test chamber thermometer and samples. Temperature is controlled at 163° c ± 1° c by means of a variable temperature controller and thermostat. Two rotating platforms are supplied with each oven: one accepts 9 standard penetration cups for the loss on heating test, the other accepts two 140mm diameter test pans for the thin film test. The platforms are rotated at 5 to 6 rpm by an external motor. Chamber dimensions 350 x 350 x 350mm (length x width x height)

These are sturdy double walled units with outer chamber made of M.S. Sheet duly enamel painted with inner made up of anodized aluminium or S.S Sheet. The gap between inner and outer chamber is filled with high grade glass wool to avoid thermal losses. Beaded heating elements are placed in ribs, at bottom and sides. Inner chamber is provided with ribs for adjusting perforated shelves to convenient height. Temperature is controlled by hydraulic type capillary thermostat from 50°C to 250°C + 1°C. An L-shaped prismatic thermometer is fitted to the unit for reading the chamber temperature. Air ventilators are also provided on the sides of the unit. To work on 220/230Volts. A.C.
